(arashi) sugar and spice; nino/jun

Rating: PG-13
Genre: idk :D
Notes: Okay, so this needs a tiny bit of explaining. It's like, 5 mainly related drabbles, each of exactly 100 words, and each only one sentence long. I was bored okay? Each one is also titled after the tenth word in the drabble/sentence. And I was having fun with format, so yeah :)

Nino goes out like that because he loses a bet: skirt a little too short, sleeves a little too strappy, locks of his blonde wig tickling at his shoulders and fringe tangling with his eyelashes as he blinks, so he drapes himself over Jun as they walk just to piss him off some – he’s not letting Jun win just yet; places sloppy kisses on his cheek and does his best giggle, earning himself an elbow in the side (Nino smirks but doesn’t let up, sliding one hand into the back pocket of Jun’s jeans and skipping just a little bit).

They continue to chat into the night (Nino wakes up the next morning with the phone still in his hand and a text from Jun telling him he’s weak for falling asleep at only two o’clock and Nino rolls his eyes and makes himself a cup of tea; flicks on the TV for a bit while he drinks) and Nino thinks it’s stupid but maybe, just maybe his heart beats a little faster at it all; not much, but enough (or enough so that the next time he sees Jun he stumbles over his words and fidgets more than usual).

The only reason he tells Jun is because he’s somewhat annoyed with himself (the fidgeting and the stuttering and the god knows what else just feels so wrong, because well, he’s Nino damn it, when did he pick up Ohno’s habits?) and Nino thinks that Jun is going to laugh for a second (not that he’d blame him because he’d probably laugh if a guy confessed to him, not that he wants to be laughed at anyway), but then Jun turns bright red and Nino is pretty much shocked speechless for a minute before catching up with himself and grinning.

Jun can’t help but think of Ohno as his hands run over Nino’s chest, up around his neck; think that Ohno knows, he has to know (because Nino knows everything about Ohno, so Ohno probably knows everything about Nino as well, and then in that case, maybe Nino even knows what Jun is thinking right now...) and the thought is unnerving and he tries his best to not shake as he presses their lips firmly together and rolls into him, so that if he’s lucky, Nino can’t think (even though, to be honest, Jun has no idea what he’s doing).

Nino dons the blonde wig again – to work this time; he thinks it might be good for a laugh (he’s largely amused when he turns up and Sho spits out his drink all over the floor then has to go clean it up while Nino sits around on his DS, legs crossed in satisfaction) but Jun growls and tells him that he looks better as a guy and shouldn’t be wearing it more than he has to; takes the wig from Nino’s head and gives it to Aiba, and all Nino can say to him is You’re so gay, Matsujun.

I especially liked the first one cuz I could just imagine Nino like that.

And although he's lost the bet, I know he'll make sure Jun wouldn't win it either. MORE PRETTY PLZ? :D

you know, i've been around fanfiction for a long time now and i've always wondered, 'what the heck are drabbles? and why do people write them? they're too short to develop anything good!'

what you wrote up there? THOSE are drabbles. absolutely fabulous. i never understood the point of them, plots never developed, and i guess all the drabbles i've even been interested in reading were just... not well written (obviously, because yours were FANTASTIC).

i loved this very much :) thanks for writing and posting!!

I used to wonder the same thing; I don't think it was until I actually got into writing more that I started to understand drabbles, and even though most of the time they're pointless, they can be a lot of fun. Anyway yeah, thank you :D

wow these were really fantastic! Especially with the conditions you set (or did they all just happen to be 100 words each and one sentence, because then that's like, infinitely more amazing), they're so well done!

I really really liked these! I probably dug "Hands" the most (and matsumiya isn't necessarily my fav...)

And I like how put together all of these are, if that makes any sense... I guess what I'm trying to say is "Great job"! :)

I love how Nino annoys Jun in the first one, how he stays on the phone with him for hours in the second. I love how in the third Nino confesses and feels stupid until he realizes that hey and I love that Jun thinks of Ohno in the fourth and there IS NOT ANGST. I love how Nino wears the wig in the fifth and then tells Jun that he is SO GAY and then, in the sixth, doesn't get away with it at all.

Aw! I loved it. I'm really intrigued by the challenge you set yourself (1 sentence, only 100 words) and they all came out great. The 1 sentence thing gives them all a real "train of thought" quality that I really enjoy. Also, this has been recommended for OT5!
